Nestled in heart of the Leeward Antilles, the all-new Sandals Royal Curaçao is a romantic paradise designed for lovers. Opened in June 2022, the resort wows with never-before-seen Sandals firsts, from all-new dining concepts to stunning seaside bungalows and some seriously luxurious perks. Keep reading to learn more about some of our favorite features of this stunning beachfront oasis.

New Restaurants

If you’ve ever stayed at a Sandals Resort, you know that the dining is far beyond what you’d find at even the nicest hotels. At Sandals Royal Curaçao, you’ll find eight restaurants — including one perched over the ocean — and three food trucks. There are the timeless staples, like Butch’s Island Chop House, serving up steakhouse classics and the highest quality grain-fed Midwestern beef. There’s also Kanaal café and wine bar, the perfect place to drop in for late-night wine and cheese.

Looking for something more experimental? Try the European fusion at Vincent or pop into Gatsu Gatsu, where fresh sushi dishes are artfully plated into colorful, exotic creations. From traditional southern Italian dishes at Pietra to Central and South American flavors at Zuka and open-air Mediterranean dining at Aolos, Sandals Royal Curaçao boasts enough dining venues where you’ll never have to dine at the same place twice — but with food this good, you’ll probably want to.

Stunning Suites

Sandals isn’t one to skimp on their suites, but this resort takes it to another level. There are the iconic Kurason Island Poolside Bungalows; thatched-roof suites surrounding a picturesque heart-shaped pool surrounded in tropical gardens. If you’re looking for views of the ocean, go for the Amante One Bedroom Oceanview Royal Suite, with sweeping views of the Caribbean from the third-floor wrap-around balcony. For the ultimate in luxury, there are the Awa Seaside Butler Bungalows, complete with a patio over the water, an outdoor tranquility soaking tub for two and a private oceanfront infinity pool to watch the sunset melt into the Caribbean.

Luxurious Firsts

Set within the 3,000-acre Santa Barbara estate, the resort boasts some impressive Sandals firsts, like Dos Awa, the expansive two-level infinity pool overlooking the sparkling turquoise sea and Sandals’ first-ever floating restaurant. Getting married? Sandals Royal Curaçao offers 38,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, the largest in all of Curaçao. These resorts are some of the best for customizable wedding, honeymoons and vow renewals. Plus, not only does the resort have seriously envy-inducing island suites and bungalows, but these reservations also include butler service and access to a convertible MINI Cooper to explore the island.
